God’s Rods is Transitioning to HOPE Museum!

Watch our HOPE Museum video!

Welcome! Here’s what we’ve been up to…

Oh, but God!”  We borrowed these lyrics because we’ve been praying for God’s leading as we consider taking our God’s Rods ministry to the next level—something which will carry well into the next generation. For the last 15 years, we have been blessed to reach thousands of people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the creative artwork on our cars, and we want to continue the calling that He’s put on our hearts!

So God gave us the vision to create H.O.P.E. Museum! Hope stands for “History Of People Everywhere”. It’s the perfect name because God has blessed us to be in an area where millions of people come from all over the world—every tribe and tongue—each year to visit Niagara Falls! The Museum, to be strategically located on the Niagara Tourism Trail, is going to be a place where you can literally walk through the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation! And don’t worry, we’ll keep a couple of museum-worthy cars in the space as well, as we plan to continue ministry with God’s Rods outreach.

In addition to HOPE Museum, we’re going to incorporate the Fill ‘Er Up Coffee Shop and the HOPE Museum Gift Shop. Both of these social enterprises will help to support the Museum financially, especially in the winter months when tourism tapers off. With that in mind, we want to make HOPE Museum and the coffee shop available year round for local residents to utilize in a variety of creative ways, like hosting birthday parties, church small groups, or even Christian movie nights!

Indeed, God has been so good, and as we step out in faith we will trust Him to finish this good work which He has started. We invite you to join us in financially supporting this project, volunteering with your time and talents, and most importantly, the ongoing need of your faithful prayers. He truly is an amazing God!

  • First, He put the desire in our hearts – not according to our will, but that His will would be done.
  • He provided a beautiful piece of property.
  • He provided the money for all the engineering, designing, drawings, permits and approval from the Town of Lockport.
  • He allowed the sale of our building in Newfane (less than 2,000 square feet) which is almost enough to put up a 15,000 square foot building.
  •  He has worked in the hearts of people and local businesses who have generously committed to supply labor, know-how and materials.
  • We hope to break ground on our project by late June!

Calling All Volunteers!

Let every skillful craftsman among you come and make all that the LORD has commanded…” Exodus 35:10

As God told Moses to call upon “every skilled craftsman among you”, we’re also calling out to our skilled friends in the community to come and help us at the various stages of the construction of our building and site. We’ll need craftsmen of all kinds, men and women skilled in everything from carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC—to drywall, painting, and finish trim work. We’re also praying for volunteers to bring their creative abilities as we move on to creating our museum displays. For that, we’ll need model makers, painters and decorators, audiovisual experts… Anything you can think of that would go into a museum! Reach out to us here if you are interested in bringing your God-given talents to the HOPE Museum project. God bless you!
